HSC Re-evaluation Results Published

The results of the re-evaluation of answer scripts for the 2025 HSC, Alim, and equivalent examinations have been published. On Sunday (16 November) at 10 AM, all education boards across the country released the results simultaneously on their respective websites. Additionally, students who applied for re-evaluation are receiving their updated results through SMS on their registered mobile numbers.

Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haider, Exam Controller of the Dhaka Education Board and Convenor of the Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers’ Committee, said that each application was reviewed with utmost importance. Every script was carefully examined during the re-evaluation process. Students can check their updated results on their respective board websites, he added.

According to board sources, a record number of applications were submitted for re-evaluation this year. Across 11 education boards, 226,000 students applied for re-evaluation of 428,000 scripts. Among them, Dhaka Board received the highest number of applications, while Barisal Board received the fewest.

Subject-wise data shows that English and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) received the highest number of re-evaluation requests. After the main results were published on 16 October, applications were accepted for seven days—from 17 to 23 October. The fee for re-evaluation was 150 taka per subject.

This year, a total of 1,251,111 students from 9,197 institutions across the country took part in the HSC and equivalent examinations. Among them, 726,960 students passed, resulting in a pass rate of 58.83 percent. A total of 508,701 students failed. The pass rate for female students is 62.97 percent, while that of male students is 54.60 percent.
