BGB Deployed in Dhaka and 4 Districts to Maintain Law and Order

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has been deployed in Dhaka and four other districts to help maintain peace and order. The information was confirmed on Sunday (16 November) by BGB Headquarters’ Public Relations Officer Md. Shariful Islam.

According to him, BGB personnel are actively patrolling and performing duties to strengthen security in Dhaka, Gopalganj, Faridpur, and Madaripur districts.

Over the past week, several areas of the capital have experienced incidents of crude bomb explosions and arson attacks on buses. In this situation, along with the police, BGB forces are also working on the ground to stabilize the law-and-order situation.
